The Guldknappen Gala is an annual event where the prestigous fashion award Guldknappen is handed out to a swedish fashion designer. This year (2009), the 28th award was given to Carin Wester, chosen by the jury consisting of Mona Johansson, Martina Bonnier, Tom Hedqvist, Karina Ericsson Wärn and Daniel Björk. Hostess of the evening was Emma Wiklund, internationally acclaimed model and actress.
